Bathroom brand HiB has expanded its best-selling Exos range to include an impressive 120cm width option. The elegantly designed cabinet offers delicate, precision illumination around the edge of each door, that is operated using a touch-free sensor switch. This along with the ambient underlighting, helps to bring the bathroom to life, reflecting the surrounding décor to integrate the cabinet into the complete look.

A gentle giant in the bathroom, the 120cm Exos offers sleek, understated style that is well suited to a range of trends from structured, industrial designs to playful and bright aesthetics. The cabinet also contains an integrated heated pad beneath the mirrored doors, which ensures that condensation is reduced on the surface and visibility is maintained.

But it’s not just the outside which offers impressive technology. The Exos cabinet also features a range of solutions for charging, such as an integrated USB socket and 2 pin charging point. Shavers and electric toothbrushes can be kept on the handy removable ‘keep-clean’ mat kept inside the cabinet, which aids hygiene and cleaning.

HiB Sales Director Ash Chilver said: “The 120cm Exos cabinet offers all the key technology and style features our customers know and love, but in a grand size that can completely transform the space. It has been designed to complement a double vanity unit with dual basins and is ideal for storing all the bathroom essentials you could need.

“We’ve found that the larger mirrors and cabinets are popular with customers looking to enjoy the best of both worlds, ample storage and statement styling to suit their design. Often it has been paired with the HiB Novum Aeon and Blend ranges with our Eden basins to create a sleek, contemporary look.”

STAGELINE is a new and elegant series of furniture from KEUCO that incorporates a vanity unit and three additional storage units. The unique aspect of this series is the illuminated open storage compartment, the leading light and key feature in both the vanity and tall unit. The shelf or ‘stage’ is illuminated by a warm LED light with 3,000 Kelvin, allowing consumers to creatively display decorative personal items, toiletries, whatever they feel works in this space.

There’s a Shakespeare quote from As You Like it “All the worlds a stage and men and women are merely players” and yet this could also be the perfect description of a family bathroom. STAGELINE is the ideal supporting act for the dramas, soliloquies, romance, and beauty scenes that take place with the bathroom as it’s backdrop.

The look is tonal, the glass front and body of the furniture are a single colour, in natural shades gently restrained, creating a warm environment. Monochrome also has its place in fact there are four shades to choose from white or cashmere glossy as well as Inox or Vulkanit satin. The glass fronts of the furniture bring an additional textural feature offering a highly glossed or velvety matt finish.

The STAGELINE series incorporates practical elements including an integrated power socket along with a USB and USB-C charging point. The attention to detail is key such as the softly curved, gently protruding glass front at the top of the units, which is not only decorative but practical acting as a handle.

The curves echo other elements in KEUCO portfolio such as the rounded PLAN ceramic washbasins which sit elegantly on top of the STAGELINE vanity units. These are available in six different widths, ensuring the stage can be set whatever the size of the bathroom. The vanity units have an option to add drawer partitions – four versions, providing different size options for personal or family use. There is an elegant dark inlay mat with a non-slip to help keep bottles and jars in place.

Depending on the size of the bathroom there are three additional STAGELINE pieces to choose from; this furniture is ideal for larger storage space requirements; the tall unit, single-door unit or the two-door centre unit. The tall unit is elegant with an illuminated shelf in the middle and all cabinets feature soft-close hinges and high-quality, easy-care glass shelves inside.

Utopia has unveiled dramatic new additions to Roseberry, its premium solid timber range of fitted, freestanding and wall mounted bathroom furniture.

Key elements include luxurious curved timber units in both wall-mounted and freestanding configurations, designed to create a show-stopping centre piece, an extensive new collection of elegant washstands with authentic oak towel slats in multiple sizes and options, and an array of new freestanding vanity units with a choice of drawers or doors.  Alongside this, a host of additional units has been added to the Roseberry fitted offering, including stunning curved unit options to provide an elegant end to a run of fitted units.

Complementing the new units is an extended choice of sit-on basins, new solid surface decors, new modern and traditional handles, and stylish brassware in chrome, matt black and brass options.

Designed to be sustainable and long-lasting, Roseberry is made from responsibly sourced timber and teamed with luxurious complementary materials.

Rich Shore, Utopia’s Head of Product Design, says, “Designing the expansion of an existing collection with such strong foundations was both challenging and liberating.  Our new Roseberry 2022 collection needed to be fresh, bold and inspiring whilst sitting harmoniously with the existing collection and we strongly believe that is exactly what we have delivered.”

In eight paint shades, the new collection offers a truly comprehensive choice as the units are configurable to suit all tastes and styles, whether a light airy contemporary look or a twist on a traditional feel.  The newly extended range of sizes also ensures that a Roseberry bathroom can be created in any room no matter what the shape or dimensions.

Commenting on the new Roseberry Collection, Helen Clark, Head of Marketing at Utopia, says “These strategic additions to Roseberry greatly increase the choice and versatility of this premium range. Alongside the inspired design, luxurious materials and quality craftsmanship, we have also paid careful attention to ease of installation as would be expected. In addition, attention to detail can be seen in such features as the craftsmanship of the curved units, the finish and quality of the solid timber, the silent and soft closing drawer box mechanism, the stylish Eton Oak internals and the new curved plinth detail.  We are absolutely delighted to present this new collection and the feedback has already been absolutely overwhelming.”

Hansgrohe presented its latest ranges, including Pulsify, RainDrain, Finoris, Vivenis, AddStoris and AXOR One. For some of these products, HIX represented the first time they were available for viewing at an event in the UK.

Hansgrohe comprised its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, to showcase its latest innovations in bathroom design. With working water displays and its latest products on show, visitors were welcomed to the stand. As one of the founding sponsors of HIX 2021, Hansgrohe sponsored the talk, ‘Quietness with Attitude’, in partnership with Hotel Designs at the event.

Jay Phillips, Managing Director at Hansgrohe UK comments: ‘Designing for wellness has never been more important. The mental and physical health impact of the last 18 months has opened up important conversations around personal and corporate wellbeing, so much so that designers and architects need to work increasingly harder to create spaces that calm, rejuvenate and cocoon its users.

“Whether through applying biophilic principles, using clever lighting and layouts, or simply harnessing the restorative power of water when it comes to bathroom planning, good design has the power to transform the guest experience. Hansgrohe, with its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, is delighted to be sponsoring this event where such an important topic is top of the agenda.’

VitrA showcased Liquid, the new bathroom range created in collaboration with acclaimed British designer, Tom Dixon, at the newly launched Hotel Design Interiors (HIX) show.

The Liquid collection, a full bathroom range, is ideally suited to hospitality settings and is the latest addition to VitrA’s portfolio of designer collaborations.

The comprehensive range includes sanitaryware, furniture, taps, tiles, shower systems, and accessories. All of the products are designed to be able to work together or as stand-alone pieces.

Tom Dixon drew inspiration from a variety of sources. From the “big chunky taps and fat tubes” of Victorian bathrooms to the round-edged aesthetics of his recent work, which is reminiscent of the work of Claes Oldenburg and Jeff Koons’ Balloon Dog.

The functionality of the range is designed to be intuitive so that users instinctively understand how to operate the products, a facet of the collection which is particularly suited to hotel and hospitality environments.

Speaking about the need for this Tom commented “I wanted the collection to look like a kid’s sketch of a bathroom basin or a tap, displaying a clear logic and simplicity in looks and usage”.

Consciously choosing to offer only white ceramics, the range combines different materials including fluted glass and metal mesh for the furniture units. Taps and showers are available in chrome or for contrast, a new gloss black finish that is atypical in modern bathrooms. The range also includes distinctive wall tiles, available in five designs with colour options of white, black, grey, sage green and ecru.

The collection is perfectly suited for commercial projects where longevity is an important consideration. The collection can be combined in multiple styles to suit various purposes and environments, ensuring flexibility in a wide range of hotel and hospitality settings.

Levent Giray, Managing Director of VitrA UK, comments: “We are delighted to take part in the first ever HIX
event. It is the ideal setting for us to introduce the Liquid range to a commercial and hospitality focused
audience.

“Our extensive manufacturing, design and innovation capabilities have ensured that there is a unity to the breadth of the Liquid collection. At a time when there is a greater emphasis placed on the role of the
bathroom in hotel and hospitality settings, this cohesive range has a generosity of design that will sit
comfortably in many different environments.”
