Midlands-based Hayfield has worked in collaboration with the Roca Group for several years to hand-pick the ideal specification of innovative Roca and Laufen products for its range of bathroom designs. The developer’s most recent projects include the stunning residential developments of Hayfield Oaks in Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire, Hayfield Wood in Broad Blunsdon, Wiltshire and Hayfield Place in the Bedfordshire village of Silsoe.

Hayfield is a highly regarded, award-winning housebuilder with a reputation for creating homes of exceptional quality. A Hayfield home is filled with thoughtful design detail and crafted with skill and expertise. Every element is carefully chosen by the Hayfield team, with a specific focus on luxurious hotel-quality bathrooms.

Hayfield’s luxurious homes are designed to reflect architectural styles which are sympathetic to the local environment, weaving in locally sourced materials and detailing. This makes the properties unique, not just in terms of the setting, but also in how each house is constructed and blends with its surroundings. The specification and products also vary from home to home, however, one element that is consistent across all Hayfield homes is that their bathrooms feature high-quality sanitaryware, brassware and bathroom furniture, from the Roca Group.

Kelly Sharman, Sales and Marketing Director at Hayfield comments:

“Buying a Hayfield home is an exciting process for our customers; from selecting the house design right through to the finishing touches. Bathrooms are a vital part of the home and a space that needs to be both practical and luxurious. We select sanitaryware with great care and attention to ensure it reflects the high-quality specification that our customers expect and helps to differentiate us from the competition. Our partnership with Roca has enabled us to truly exceed those aims.”

For Hayfield’s 1-to-3 bedroom homes, the cloakrooms and bathrooms feature a range of contemporary Roca products. These include the hugely popular The Gap WC from Roca. The Gap collection is so versatile, in terms of both product options and style, that it enables housebuilders to optimise the design and look of any bathroom space. The Gap features modern and stylish lines whilst delivering both a compact and functional bathroom collection. Concealed cisterns have also been specified which offer a multitude of benefits, helping with water efficiency, saving space and making the bathroom easier to clean.

In the bathrooms, the Victoria N basin and furniture range provides stylish and practical bathroom storage options and is completed with co-ordinating Malva brassware. The Luna mirrored bathroom cabinet with its adjustable shelves provides additional useful storage with a clean and minimalist design.

The elegant, rectangular Contesa bath provides a focal point in the bathroom. Made from steel, it is hygienic and extremely efficient in retaining the water temperature, keeping the water warmer for longer.

Roca’s Victoria T shower columns are used in the multi-purpose bathing and shower area, offering a practical and stylish solution with the added benefits of thermostatic functionality which maintains a constant water temperature for a pleasant showering experience and to avoid the risk of scalding.

Hayfield’s most prestigious and largest homes, with four or five bedrooms, feature Swiss bathroom manufacturer Laufen’s products in order to appeal to the most discerning customers.

These stylishly designed bathrooms and ensuites feature the spacious VAL washbasin, which was chosen for its robustness and sleek design. Designed by Konstantin Grcic, the VAL collection is made using Laufen’s very own SaphirKeramik, a revolutionary high-tech ceramic material which allows for the creation of wafer-thin but still exceptionally robust walls and finely-defined curves, whilst being lighter to use on site. To complement the washbasin, Hayfield also selected the popular Laufen Base furniture for practical bathroom storage along with the sleek City Pro brassware.

Laufen’s versatile Pro range was specified for the cloakrooms and the smoothly contoured Laufen Pro floorstanding back-to-wall WC has been chosen in both cloakrooms and bathrooms with stylish co-ordinating Laufen flushplates.

“Being able to combine the luxurious Laufen products with the contemporary but more cost-effective Roca solutions is ideal for our development portfolio,” continues Kelly Sharman. “Having one point of contact, but such a varied and innovative choice of products streamlines our design and construction processes, and Roca’s product guarantee offers added reassurance. We are delighted with the bathrooms on all of our sites and our customers are too.”
