2020 showcased its latest version of 2020 Fusion at kbb. 2020 also previewed the exciting developments in its VR capabilities and demonstrated its 3D space planning tool, 2020 Ideal Spaces, at kbb Birmingham.

2020 has reported the show provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to meet its UK-based customer success team, who were be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate all the latest products.

Visitors to the stand tried out the new VR solution, available later this year, and see-saw how customers can explore a virtual representation of their dream space. And, because the customer is experiencing the design before it is built, any changes can easily be made in real-time whilst still in the VR mode – updates to styles, materials and products can be made instantaneously. This delivers a truly seamless and collaborative sales experience for both designers and their customers.

Show visitors were also able to discover the most recent enhancements to 2020 Fusion, including the high-quality ‘Publish’ render option, as well as multi-point 360° panoramas and other new design-enhancing benefits.

There was also the opportunity to experience 2020 Ideal Spaces, the innovative 3D space online planning tool, thanks to a free-standing touchscreen.

“2020 is our year and we want to make it our customers’ year too,” said Jim Smalley, 2020 Fusion Product Manager. “We wanted visitors to see how 2020 Fusion and 2020 Ideal Spaces have been developed to meet their specific needs, so they can channel all their efforts into the creative process, safe in the knowledge that these products will, undoubtedly, make a positive difference to the sales and presentation process.”

Designing a luxurious, versatile showering space can be challenging, especially when it comes to installation. Kudos has expanded its collection of Pinnacle8 luxury shower enclosures (pictured below) to include a true quadrant and centrefold designs, in a choice of sizes. Kudos offers easy installation thanks to a slimline wall profile with fully concealed fixings designed to maintain a 20mm wall adjustment. PCA Dual-Core Aerator from Neoperl saves energy

The latest PCA Dual-Core Aerators, from British manufacturer Neoperl, have been designed to ensure a consistent flow in both high and low-pressure environments. It’s the very latest in technology for aerators and it’s unique and patented by Neoperl.

Stream and flow control devices are often fitted in the spout of new washbasin, bath and kitchen taps and in many cases this new dual core aerator can  be retrofitted to these taps to improve performance. They shape the water to produce a non-splashing stream and add air to make the water pleasantly soft. Combined with a flow regulator, these latest Dual Core Aerators control the flow of water, reduce plumbing noise and save water and therefore energy.

Regardless of the prevalent water pressure conditions, this new aerator maintains a pleasant and consistent water stream at the chosen flow rate. It works by using two dynamic control rings (O-rings) within the flow regulator, enabling high performance at both low and high pressure, particularly beneficial for the UK market. At low pressure it encourages a high flow rate due to a larger bypass section and at high pressure the o-rings are pressed into the gaps between the teeth of the core, thus reducing the size of the opening for the water leading to pressure independent flow rates.

All standard sizes are available in the new PCA Dual Core Aerator plus 1.2gpm*, 1.5pgm and 2.1gpm, with further less popular specifications currently in preparation for launch later this year.

New Bette baths & basins make UK debut

The company also demonstrated the durability of its glazed titanium-steel material with ‘Endurance Tests’ featuring fire and nail varnish, as well as artists creating a ‘Skyline of London’ design in the new Bette bath, using permanent markers that could actually be removed easily.

The circular BetteCraft basin gained a Red Dot Award 2019 for product design and was shown in some of the hundreds of colours available. Also making an impact on the stand was the new BettePond Silhouette freestanding bath. The spacious 150cm diameter bath is the first circular bath to be created in glazed titanium-steel and takes the form to new levels of luxury and elegance. 

Bette is also known for its innovative glazed titanium-steel shower trays, and the display included a BetteFloor, which can be installed flush to the floor and is available with Bette’s almost invisible Anti-slip Pro option.

Bette’s baths, basins and shower trays/floors are made of glazed titanium-steel, are highly durable, easy to clean and come with a thirty year warranty.
