Acquabella has won an award from The Society of British and International Interior Design (SBID), a professional accrediting body for the Interior Design industry across the UK, Europe and around the world.
Acquabella achieved an SBID Award for the best Bathroom Product at the inaugural SBID Product Design Awards for 2020. The bathroom furniture specialists were awarded this accolade for the product, Smart Quiz.
The winners were revealed online on Friday 23 October alongside this year’s eagerly anticipated SBID International Design Awards winners.
The Bathroom Product category focuses on any products suitable for use within a bathroom setting, ranging from bathroom cabinets, mirrors and towel rails to shower doors, floors and screens.

Smart Quiz represents 25 years of innovative creations which blend into a unique finish formed by different textures set beneath geometric patterns. It results in a surface with an appearance that has never been seen before, featuring three high-definition finishes created by Acquabella; Beton, Zero and Ethnic. The first portrays the appearance of manually handled cement; the second consists of a minimalist microtexture; and the third combines wood and cement. Now in its eleventh year, the GOLD-rated awards programme is recognised for its transparency, as well as its professional and ethical standards by The Independent Awards Standards Council. With all categories assessed by panels of leading industry experts who look for outstanding examples of technical content and aesthetic creativity, as well inviting the public to cast their votes, achieving an SBID Award is an unparalleled marque of industry excellence for the deserving winners. Judges this year included a host of top tier professionals from global design businesses such as Karim Rashid Inc, Unilever Prestige, Zaha Hadid Architects, Wanda Hotels and Resorts, HOK London Studio, Katharine Pooley Ltd, and the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
