An announcement has been made to open entries into the inaugural Great KBB Run to be held on the weekend of 6th and 7th September this year.
Planned to be an annual event going forward, it aims to give those in the industry an event that promotes well-being and community, bringing together all sides of our sector for one big challenge.
Organised by Toby Griffin of KBB Support, this is a virtual run (or jog!), with entrants choosing to cover a distance of either 10km or a half-marathon in their locality, then posting the completed run via an app – such as Strava or Garmin – as evidence of their efforts.
The entry fee is only £20, and those who finish will be sent a Great KBB Run t-shirt; the profit will be donated to The Youth Sport Trust.
Although perfect for those who run alone, it is also hoped that this would be a good team-building event for any company to get everyone together for a group outing.
