The Shower Lab has expanded its View Collection with the introduction of the View 21.2H – a frameless, double-hinged bifold panel system designed for elegant, space-efficient wet rooms. Once a bespoke solution, this innovative design is now available as a standard offering to bathroom designers across the UK.
Engineered for smaller bathrooms and multigenerational households, the View 21.2H brings a sleek, luxurious finish to wetroom layouts where space is at a premium. Precision-made from 10mm toughened safety glass, tested to EN12150 standard, each panel folds flat against the wall when not in use. This creates valuable space and removes the need for thresholds, reducing trip hazards and making it ideal for inclusive, accessible bathrooms.
Designed with functionality and elegance in mind, the panels feature solid brass hinges. These allow the glass to pivot both inwards and outwards, ensuring effortless use and maximum flexibility. Each unit can be configured for either left or right-hand openings and is available in a range of standard sizes to suit varied layouts.
Glass panels are finished with EnduroShield – a durable, clear polymer coating that forms a non-stick barrier against limescale and residue. This treatment keeps the glass water-repellent, easy to clean, and looking pristine. A dry-glazing system also ensures a minimal silicone finish, creating a modern aesthetic and leak-free installation.
Available in 10 premium finishes, including Brushed Gunmetal Grey, Polished Gold, Light Aged Bronze, and Matt Black, the View 21.2H adds a sophisticated edge to any bathroom. Designers can further customise with coloured or textured glass options, such as Satin Etched, Bronze, or Fluted styles.
