The Bathroom Association has announced the finalists for its highly anticipated 2025 Sustainability Awards. Reflecting our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, the awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable efforts of our members to reduce their environmental impact and champion sustainable innovation.
Open to all full and affiliate members, the award recognises a diverse array of initiatives that are paving the way toward a greener future. From transitioning to circular economy models and reducing carbon emissions to educating teams on water efficiency and inspiring eco-conscious consumer choices through marketing and product design, our members are making a tangible difference.
This year’s finalists exemplify creativity, determination, and forward-thinking approaches to sustainability:
- Thomas Dudley Limited – Quantum: The world’s first pushbutton toilet syphon, revolutionising water efficiency in bathroom technology.
- Kohler Mira – Mira Advance Heatloop™: Designed to enhance energy performance and support the decarbonisation of UK homes.
- Triton Showers – ENlight® with HeatRepeat®: The manufacturer’s first electric shower designed to integrate with Waste Water Heat Recovery Systems (WWHRS).
- The Green Futures Initiative Ltd – eco-cistem™: The world’s most environmentally friendly toilet cistern, enabling large-scale water savings.
- Roca Group – Electric Kiln: Transforming ceramic production with a focus on sustainability and precision.
This year’s entries impressed the independent judging panel with their outstanding quality. The judges remarked that “virtually all submissions demonstrated a strong understanding of environmental impact challenges” and that narrowing the field was a challenging task.
While only one overall winner will be crowned, the finalists will be presented with commendations for exceptional entries. The awards will be presented at the Connect Conference Gala Dinner on 17 September, a highlight of the industry calendar. Tickets remain available, although accommodation at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham, is now fully booked.
Bathroom Association chief executive, Tom Reynolds, commented: “These awards are a celebration of innovation and dedication in our sector. Each finalist is an example of how the bathroom industry can lead the way in tackling environmental challenges, and we are proud to showcase their achievements.”
