Chic shower spaces that leave space to breathe..

While white is still the most popular colour in Bette’s glazed steel shower trays and floors, there has been a definite shift in the colours and finishes being chosen. Forty percent of Bette shower trays or floors are sold in matt, rather than gloss colours. Matt white is popular, and there is a high demand for various shades of grey and beige. Darker colours are also being selected, with browns to dark anthracites popular.

The future will see more customers choosing colours to match flooring and choosing larger sizes to make their shower area more luxurious. More customers are also opting for anti-slip, now that almost invisible options are available. Other developments that increase durability and ease of cleaning, such as integral upturns of the shower tray, are also likely to grow in popularity.

There is a desire to create bathrooms that are truly relaxing spaces to spend quality time, rather than merely functional spaces. There is also an increased awareness that products, such as glazed steel flush-to-floor shower floors, can increase accessibility in the bathroom, while also looking stylish and contemporary. The two do not have to be mutually exclusive. Customers are upgrading to flush-to-floor shower areas in colours to match their bathroom flooring, which are easy to use for all and also make the room appear more spacious.
