Bang & Olufsen introduce Beosound Stage

For Sleep + Eat, Bang & Olufsen partnered with two emerging designers to integrate the simple and beautiful style of Beosound Stage into their presentations. These presentations were the designer’s direct response to the theme of Flexibility; sharing experiences which do not compromise on aesthetic, nor functionality.  Beosound Stage featured within the work of Miaja Design Group from Singapore and London-based studio, twenty2degrees.  Combining Eastern, Danish and London style could seem a challenge, but in this instance the brands are brought together by the synergy in their design philosphies to create crafted and considered products.

The theme of Flexibility fits perfectly with the design ethos of Beosound Stage, designed in collaboration with Danish studio NORM Architects as part of Bang & Olufsen’s design strategy to work with simple geometric shapes and using natural materials to create meaningful products that integrate beautifully into the home, whilst not sacrificing on the quality of user experience.

Beosound Stage: Crafted for hospitality

Designed to create an understated yet luxurious impact in any hotel room environment, Beosound Stage is available in natural aluminium, bronze-tone or smoked oak to compliment a range of spaces. The frame runs all the way around the speaker and houses a seamlessly integrated engraved sensory control panel. As a testament to Bang & Olufsen’s unmatched craftsmanship, the natural and bronze tone frames are made from a single piece of forged aluminium, resulting in no visible seams. The smoked oak version features traditionally crafted dovetail joints, a detail typically seen in fine Scandinavian cabinetry.

Dolby Atmos for 3D sound experience

Beosound Stage features Dolby Atmos, the latest evolution in multichannel audio. Dolby Atmos works by heightening the soundstage, giving the audio a three-dimensional effect. This allows individual sounds to be moved around, creating an immersive cinema experience in your hotel room.

Match your mood with ToneTouch

Beosound Stage comes with different listening modes, which are optimized for the material you choose to listen to during your hotel stay, creating the bespoke experience you’d expect from luxury accommodation.

Guest connectivity

As a perfect companion for the TV, or as a music system in its own right, Beosound Stage is compatible with Bluetooth. This can be used when the TV is inactive, offering audio playback from the guests own device and easy streaming during a hotel stay.
